This pen features a striking mix of solid crimson ribbons suspended over a slightly transparent, dark purple base. The contrast gives the body a deep, three-dimensional look that you can see straight into as you turn it.
I equipped it with durable black-titanium hardware and a smooth German-made JoWo #6 gold-toned nib. With the cap on, it has a solid, well-balanced weight of 1.64 oz that feels comfortable for daily writing.
Unlike pens made from mass-produced acrylics, every resin rod I turn is hand-poured right in my workshop. Creating vivid, crisp color separation requires precise timing, specific resin temperatures, and custom pour techniques. The result is a truly one-of-a-kind art piece with remarkable depth that can never be replicated.

Ink Supply and Refilling
This Amethyst Flame Fountain Pen accepts standard international ink cartridges (such as these Monteverde Ink Cartridges available on Amazon) and includes a high-quality Schmidt piston converter for bottled ink. I also offer a selection of FPR Ink Bottles on this website that can ship directly with your pen. To refill, simply unscrew the metal grip section behind the nib to access the converter or cartridge.

Care Instructions
To keep your fine writing instrument in pristine condition for years to come, avoid exposing it to extreme heat, direct sunlight, or high humidity (such as leaving it in a hot car). When not in use, store your pen in a protective sleeve or the included gift box to prevent surface scratches. Periodically clean the finish with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth—never use harsh chemical cleaners or alcohol.
