This is a one-of-a-kind fountain pen that’s as much a work of art as it is a writing tool. The body is crafted from purple-dyed stabilized maple burl, a wood renowned for its complex, swirling grain. The vibrant color and unique patterns make each pen truly individual. The wood was meticulously shaped and then polished with ten coats of cyanoacrylate to give it a stunning, glass-like finish.
The pen is fitted with elegant antique silver-plated components that perfectly complement the rich purple hue. The heart of this pen is a German-made, medium-point #6 JoWo Nib, known for its excellent ink flow and smooth performance. It’s a pen that not only looks incredible but also provides a superior writing experience.
Ink Refill
This fountain pen will accept short international standard ink cartridges, and also comes with a high quality Schmidt piston converter so you can use any bottled fountain pen ink. To refill the ink, simply unscrew the metal section behind the nib.

If you don’t see the item that you were hoping to purchase listed here, please contact me. Should I happen to be out of stock on a particular item, I could make a similar one for you as long as I have the materials on hand (and I try to keep materials on hand). Fortunately it would only take about 2 weeks to complete an item and get it ready for mailing or pickup once payment has been completed. Thanks!
Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity of your Purple Burl Fountain Pen, please avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals. When not in use, store it in the provided gift box or a protective pen sleeve to preserve its finish. Clean periodically with a soft damp cloth.
