Please understand that there is a $4.50 charge automatically applied when ordering this product. However, if you are going to be in the State College area, please leave a note that you would like to pick the item up, and I will refund the shipping charge and make arrangements with you for in-person pick up.

If you don’t see the item that you were hoping to purchase listed here, please contact me. Should I happen to be out of stock on a particular item, I could make a similar one for you as long as I have the materials on hand (and I try to keep materials on hand). Fortunately it would only take about 2 weeks to complete an item and get it ready for mailing or pickup. Thanks!
Care Instructions
To make sure your Happy Valley Letter Opener lasts for years, follow these simple care instructions.
First, protect the item from its environment. Resin and metal are durable materials, but it can still react to extreme conditions. For this reason, avoid exposing your item to harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures, and don’t leave it in a car on a hot day. Similarly, avoid storing the letter opener in a humid basement. While the finish is designed to protect the pen, extreme heat, cold, humidity, and sunlight can all negatively impact its appearance and integrity. However, if you keep your item indoors in a climate-controlled environment, I reasonably expect you will not encounter any problems for the lifetime of your letter opener.
Additionally, store and clean your opener properly. When you aren’t using the opener, store it in the provided gift box or a protective pen sleeve to preserve its finish. Finally, periodically clean it with a soft, damp cloth.
