CONVERTIBLE PADAUK WOODEN PEN

I created this convertible ink pen using a dark red piece of African Padauk. By design, the pen converts from a fountain pen nib to a rollerball ink refill. It includes both sections so that you can choose how to use it at home. To change between fountain pen and rollerball, simply unscrew the metal section underneath the cap. Then, once the beautiful wood was cut to perfect size on the lathe, I finished the pen with a mixture of walnut oil, wax and protective shellac. The metal components are black-chrome plated.
Ink Refills:
As a rollerball, this pen uses rollerball style ink refills. I recommend the Schmidt 5888 ink refills (Amazon Affiliate Link), which are widely available through Amazon and other retailers.
As a fountain pen, it will accept short international standard ink cartridges. To refill the ink, simply unscrew the metal section behind the nib.

However, if you are going to be in the State College area, please leave a note that you would like to pick the item up, and I will refund the shipping charge and make arrangements with you for in-person pick up.
